about the author

Alexandra spent her early years in Pakistan and Africa before coming to live in England. Pandemonium in New York came out of a trip to America, where she lost her panda in the Empire State Building which was sent back to England with a note of his travels. Alexandra worked for 40 years in the NHS, mostly in Children and Young Peoples Services. Alexandra lives with her husband, Tim, in Oxfordshire. She has 3 grown-up children and 5 grandchildren who are her pride and joy.
